The singer hears and old fisherman singing. He wants to be dressed in his oilskins and jumper because he will soon be going to Fiddler's Green. Fiddler's Green is where old fishermen go, if they don't go to hell. There the weather is fair, there are pubs with free beer and pretty girls. He won't have a harp, just his old squeeze-box.
